Reports & Analytics

Use the multi-tab reporting dashboard to analyze referral quality, affiliate performance, revenue attribution, and client retention.

The Reports page gives you deeper insight into how your referral program is performing. It goes beyond the home dashboard's summary metrics to help you make data-driven decisions about your program structure, rewards, and affiliate management.

Accessing Reports

Navigate to Reports in the sidebar. The page has four tabs, each focused on a different aspect of your referral program.

Referral Quality

This tab analyzes the quality of referrals coming in from your program.

What it answers:

  • Are referred customers making real purchases or just signing up?
  • Which referral sources produce the highest-quality customers?
  • How do referred customers compare to your typical customers?

Key metrics:

  • Signup-to-purchase conversion rate
  • Average order value of referred customers
  • Time from referral to first purchase

Use this tab to determine whether your reward levels are attracting the right kind of customers. If referral quality is low, you may want to adjust your program scope (e.g., switch from "first purchase" to "all purchases in window") or tighten your fraud detection settings.

Affiliate Performance

This tab ranks your referrers by their results so you can identify top performers and underperformers.

What it answers:

  • Who are your most effective referrers?
  • Which referrers generate the most clicks but fewest conversions?
  • Where should you focus your support and recognition?

Key metrics:

  • Clicks, referrals, and conversions per affiliate
  • Revenue generated per affiliate
  • Commission earned per affiliate
  • Conversion rate per affiliate

Use this data to:

  • Recognize and reward top performers (consider upgrading them to a higher commission tier or group)
  • Identify referrers who share their link a lot but don't convert — they might need coaching on how to pitch your business
  • Spot inactive affiliates who haven't generated any activity

Revenue Attribution

This tab shows how much of your revenue is coming through referrals versus other channels.

What it answers:

  • What percentage of revenue comes from referred customers?
  • Is the referral program delivering meaningful ROI?
  • How does referral revenue trend over time?

Key metrics:

  • Total referred revenue vs. overall revenue
  • Referral revenue as a percentage of total
  • Revenue by program (if you have multiple programs)
  • Revenue by affiliate role (clients vs. influencers vs. agencies)

This is the tab to reference when evaluating whether your referral investment (gift card rewards, commissions) is paying off.

Client Retention

This tab measures whether referred customers stick around or churn after their first visit.

What it answers:

  • Do referred customers come back for a second visit?
  • How does retention of referred customers compare to typical customers?
  • Which referral sources bring in the most loyal customers?

Key metrics:

  • Rebooking rate (percentage who return within a window)
  • Repeat purchase frequency
  • Lifetime value estimates for referred customers

Tips

  • Review the Affiliate Performance tab weekly to stay on top of who's active
  • Use Revenue Attribution monthly to report on referral ROI to stakeholders
  • If Client Retention is low, consider adjusting your reward to attract more committed customers (e.g., a gift card for their second visit rather than their first)
  • Compare metrics before and after program changes to measure the impact of adjustments
