The self-service portal where affiliates can track performance, access their referral link, and view earnings.
The affiliate portal is a branded, self-service dashboard where your referrers can log in, view their referral link, track performance, and see their earnings. It lives at your organization's branded web address.
Accessing the Portal
Referrers access the portal at:
https://your-subdomain.viralref.com/portal
How Login Works
The portal uses a simple text message code for login — no passwords needed:
- The referrer enters their phone number
- They receive a code via text message
- They enter the code
- They're logged into their dashboard
No passwords to remember. No accounts to create. The phone number is the same one they used when they were registered as a referrer.

Once logged in, referrers see their personal dashboard with:
Referral Link
The referrer's unique link is displayed prominently with a copy button. They can share this link via text, email, social media, or any other channel.

Performance Metrics

| Total Clicks | Number of times their referral link was clicked |
| Total Signups | Number of people who signed up through their link |
| Total Conversions | Number of referred customers who made a purchase |
| Conversion Rate | Percentage of clicks that resulted in purchases |
| Total Earned | Total rewards earned across all referrals |
Recent Activity
A timeline of recent events:
- New clicks on their referral link
- New signups from their link
- Purchases by referred customers
- Rewards issued (gift card top-ups)
Branding
The affiliate portal uses your organization's branding:
- Logo displayed in the header
- Organization name throughout the portal
- Custom web address (e.g.,
acme.viralref.com)
You can configure branding from Settings > Organization > General.
Custom Domain
For a fully branded experience, you can use your own domain for the portal. Go to Settings > Organization > General and enter your custom domain (e.g., referrals.yourbusiness.com).
Setting up a custom domain requires a small change to your domain's DNS settings. If you're not sure how to do this, contact your domain provider's support team or reach out to us and we'll walk you through it.
Portal Security
- Text message verification — No passwords means no password-related attacks
- Phone number login — Only the registered phone number can access the portal
- Automatic session expiry — Sessions end after a period of inactivity
- Data isolation — Referrers can only see their own data
