My Referrals
Your personal referral dashboard for tracking your own referral activity as a team member.
The My Referrals page is your personal referral dashboard within your organization. It gives every team member a view of their own referral performance without needing to navigate the full admin dashboard.
How It Works
When you join an organization as a team member, ViralRef can automatically create an affiliate record for you linked to the organization's active referral program. This means every team member — from the receptionist to the business owner — can participate in the referral program.
If you don't have an affiliate record yet, the system creates one automatically the first time you visit the My Referrals page, using the first active program in your organization.
What You'll See
Your Referral Stats
At the top of the page, you'll see your personal metrics:
- Total Clicks — How many times your referral link has been clicked
- Total Referrals — How many people signed up through your link
- Total Conversions — How many referred customers made a purchase
- Commissions Earned — Your total earnings from referrals
- Conversion Rate — The percentage of clicks that led to purchases
- Pending Commissions — Earnings from conversions that haven't been approved yet
Gift Card Balance
If your program uses gift card rewards, your current gift card balance is displayed prominently. This is the total value of rewards you've received for successful referrals.
Your Referral Link & QR Code
Your unique referral link is displayed with:
- A copy button to quickly copy the link to your clipboard
- A QR code that customers can scan with their phone
- Share buttons for text message, email, and social media
Program Details
A summary of the referral program you're participating in:
- Commission type (percentage or fixed amount)
- Commission value
- Program scope (first purchase, all purchases, lifetime)
Recent Activity
A list of your recent conversions showing:
- Customer name
- Purchase amount
- Commission earned
- Status (pending, approved, paid)
Who Sees This Page
- Regular team members are automatically directed to My Referrals when they log in (instead of the admin dashboard)
- Admins and owners can access My Referrals from the sidebar, but their default view is the full organization dashboard
Tips
- Share your link often — Add it to your email signature, text it to regular customers, and mention it after appointments
- Use the QR code — Print it and keep it at your station or desk. It's easier for customers to scan than to type a URL
- Check back weekly — See how many clicks you're getting and whether they're converting. If you're getting clicks but no conversions, your referral pitch might need tweaking
- Tell customers what they get — People are more likely to follow through when they know there's a reward for them too
